Every shift, you contribute to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work provides preventive protection against crime, improved fire protection, and much more. You will meet all members of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and able to make well-considered decisions.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position:

• be at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• upper secondary education
• good Swedish in speech and writing
• driving license B

You must also have a clean criminal record*, be drug-free, have sound finances, and possess good health and physical fitness to be employed by Avarn Security.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience working in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you proceed in the process but do not already hold the required training (VU1, VU2), we will provide your training! The security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Security Industry's Vocational and Working Environment Board. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
