Junior Technical Support Engineer

Our department delivers command and control systems both to the Swedish Air Force and to customers abroad. You will primarily work with the Swedish air surveillance and air combat control command system, which is a complex system with many interfaces and high demands on reliability and security.

The role involves working to develop and maintain our development environment to create the best possible conditions for your colleagues. In your role, you will collaborate extensively with a wide range of roles. Since the work is largely driven by customer requirements, you need to be able to relate to them and maintain good dialogue.

Your profile

You are driven, outgoing, and willing to take responsibility, have a positive outlook, excellent collaboration skills, and are easy to communicate with. Since we work in an international environment, it is important that you, in addition to Swedish, also master English in speech and writing.

Your background is likely a Master of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or a related field with a few years of relevant work experience.

• Good knowledge of deployment, maintenance of development environments and their infrastructure

• Knowledge of (Linux, Virtualization, KVM, etc.)

• Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both in speech and writing

Meriting

• Experience working with version control systems (Git, SVN, CVS)

• Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python)

• Knowledge of automated build pipelines (CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

• Interest or experience in the aviation domain

Other

Full-time on-site at the customer's premises. Selection of candidates is ongoing. Very good opportunities for extension.
