Automation Engineer in Production

We are now looking for an Automation Engineer for a long-term assignment with our client in the manufacturing industry. The assignment is suitable for someone who wants to work closely with production, focusing on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement of processes.

About the assignment

In the role of Automation Engineer, you will work with both support and development of production processes with a particular focus on automation. You will become an important part of the work to improve production flows, implement new solutions, and ensure efficient and quality-assured production.

Your duties include among others

• Driving improvement work and implementing automation solutions in production
• Optimizing production flows with focus on efficiency, quality and ergonomics
• Implementing product changes and creating work instructions
• Specifying tools and fixtures and commissioning new equipment
• Maintaining and further developing automated systems
• Training and supporting personnel in production processes
• Programming robots and PLCs

Your Profile

• Relevant academic education in production engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience from manufacturing industry with good understanding of production processes
• Experience in automation, including programming of robots and PLCs
• Practical experience of Siemens control systems (TIA Portal)
• Experience of robot programming, e.g. ABB RobotStudio and/or Fanuc
• Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Knowledge in composite technology
• Experience of other robot or automation platforms
