As a hearse driver/assistant, you and your colleague handle transportation of deceased individuals. In your work, you play an active role in planning, executing, and taking responsibility for recurring tasks based on routines and directives from company management.

About the company:

Politivagn Stockholm is a hearse company that performs transportation of deceased individuals on behalf of Police Authorities and Municipalities. The working hours consist of shift work and are based at the company's premises in Fruängen Centrum. We work based on a common set of core values where professionalism, dignity, pride, and respect for the mission are fundamental.

Job duties:

The work involves, in a team of two, manning a hearse and alternating between driver and assistant. The job requires good cooperation with employees at the Police Authority, the National Board of Forensic Medicine, municipal homes, and other external facilities.

The assistant's role includes receiving phone orders and creating driving orders.

During the shift, the team is also responsible for vehicle care, the shared premises, and handling work and consumable materials. The work involves a certain degree of freedom under responsibility.

Competence: Preferably C license

Requirements:

. CV

. Upper secondary education of 2 years or equivalent

. Driver's license B

. Good driving skills

. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

. Stable psyche and good physical ability, as the work may involve heavy lifting

Merits:

. Experience driving a light truck or equivalent

. Good local knowledge of Stockholm County

. Experience from work in transportation, passenger transport, or the hearse industry

. Experience from healthcare or service professions

Employment conditions:

We apply individual salary setting in accordance with Kommunal's guidelines. Depending on the extent of employment, a fixed monthly salary or hourly wage is applied. An extract from the criminal records will be obtained prior to employment in accordance with the Police Authority's requirements.

Working hours:

Currently, we are looking for full-time staff who can work 5 days/week, Monday to Friday

Working hours can vary between different weeks, days and nights

Our work group is smoke-free. The work is performed in uniform, and the company provides uniform clothing.
