About the Job

For the autumn term 2026, we are looking for a substitute music teacher for teaching in grades 4-6 and music elective grades 1-9. The substitute position is at 80%, distributed over 5 days/week during the period 8/10-26 to 12/18-26.

We are looking for someone qualified to teach music. We want you to have good collaborative skills, be able to easily create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and include students in the subject in an inspiring and motivational way. You will have an important role in the content and execution of our joint events together with our other music teachers.

We further see that you are an educational and clear leader who can structure and plan your work effectively. You are engaged, flexible, and proactive. We assume that your goal is to create a developmental, positive, and safe learning environment for your students. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Teaching license with the right to teach music

Meriting

• Work experience as a music teacher in primary school
• Experience working with SchoolSoft and Google Workspace for Education

Other

We apply individual salary setting. Start date: 8/10-26. We have a collective agreement in Almega education and wellness allowance. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.
