A bit about us

Förskolan Gläntan is located in close proximity to large natural areas in Sätra with access to Lake Mälaren.

Our goal is to have confident, curious, creative and resourceful children who, through play, find joy in learning and exploring together with others.

Our preschool works with learning for sustainable development and teaches based on the curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogy since 1994 with the same management and owner (Moa Gehlin), which guarantees high quality as well as a structured and safe preschool that follows the current development in the preschool world.

According to Moa Gehlin, an important part of the success of Förskolan Gläntan is the staff's conscious approach to children and sustainable learning. The goal is a preschool with co-researching, active educators who encourage and inspire children to ask productive questions.

Regardless of which prioritized goal the preschool works towards, the basis of the work is that children should learn by discovering and experimenting in unique environments.

Our team consists of cheerful, energetic, creative individuals, including six preschool teachers, one atelierista, and five childcare workers.

Förskolan Gläntan is a meeting place with three departments for children aged 1-6 years.

Job description

The position is full-time. The daily work consists of being involved in the pedagogical work and participating in the preschool's activities.

We see you helping to build and develop learning environments with your own ideas that inspire and encourage exploration and play where children are always at the center.

You cannot get a better manager and leader if you want to develop in your role as a childcare worker.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children
• It is an advantage if you are a graduated childcare worker, or have started studies in the field.
• The ability to see opportunities and enjoy challenges
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a must
• Clear focus on children, which is reflected in your approach in everyday life
• That you are engaged, professional and proactive in your professional role
• A responsible and structured person, with good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively
• Clear and solution-oriented working methods
• Ability to create engagement and spread joy at work around you
• We welcome male childcare workers as we want a mixed group of male and female childcare workers
