Classroom Teacher Grades 4-6

Västerås Montessori School is now looking for a classroom teacher for our grades 4-6.

We are an independent primary school with approximately 100 students, centrally located in Västerås. Our younger classes consist of about 20 students, while the age-integrated grades 4–6 have around 15 students. This creates good conditions for close relationships and a safe learning environment.

Our operations are inspired by Montessori pedagogy while actively drawing on current research and proven experience.

At our school, school and after-school care work closely together; the entire day is seen as a whole where students' development is in focus.

About the position

We are looking for a classroom teacher who wants to help develop our operations with a particular focus on students' social development.

Social skills training is a central part of our work, and we are looking for someone who sees the value in working long-term and structured with this.

For the right person, there is an opportunity to take a leading role, both in the teaching team and in the school's management group.

• Is a licensed teacher for grades Preschool–3
• Has a strong commitment to students' social development
