Spanish Teacher

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications to teach Spanish. You should have an interest in developing the learning environment for the school's students.

In your work, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving Spanish instruction. The teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations for students and adapt instruction to the levels of all students, your assessment of each individual student, and with a focus on the student's best interests. You work for an accessible school environment where alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation that stimulates students to learn and take responsibility. You have good leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You easily build relationships and are comfortable collaborating with students, guardians, and school staff.

As a person, you are communicative, perceptive, and well-versed in and uphold the professional ethical principles for teachers, and have an aptitude for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge. You systematically reflect on practical work and, together with colleagues, drive development work and take joint responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development. You will be part of one of the school's work teams for collaboration and support.

The duties consist of teaching Spanish to students in grades 6 to 9. The position is a temporary contract for 1 year with a possible extension.
