About the Job
Do you want to help educate the next generation in forestry at the Forest Upper Secondary School, Forest Economics Upper Secondary School, and Hunting Upper Secondary School?
The Forest Upper Secondary School, the Hunting Upper Secondary School, and the Forest Economics Upper Secondary School are part of the Natural Resources Program with a focus on forestry, where students gain knowledge in modern forestry and digital technology. Theoretical studies are combined with simulator practice and driving real machines on training grounds and in the forest. Students at the Hunting Upper Secondary School receive in-depth knowledge of various hunting methods and game management. At the Forest Economics Upper Secondary School, students gain in-depth knowledge of forest production, forest management, and learn how different forest management methods affect its value. The Forest Upper Secondary School deepens students' skills in forest machine operation.
Our students gain the competence to work in forestry as machine operators, foresters, entrepreneurs, or to continue their studies to become forest managers, forest technicians, game managers, wildlife officers, or other higher education programs.
We are now looking for someone with both practical and theoretical knowledge in forestry. At Älvdalens Utbildningscentrum, we offer stimulating work in an open, unpretentious, and creative environment. With us, you will join a cheerful team full of forestry professionals. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration skills, positivity, and responsiveness.
Your main duties include, together with colleagues, teaching our forestry, hunting, and forest economics students in subject areas related to forestry. You will be able to rely on pre-designed teaching plans and close collaboration with colleagues.
