Grantomta Montessori School is now looking for a clear, engaged, and confident teaching assistant to support a student in grade 2.

Grantomta is a small independent school with big ambitions, located in scenic Värmdö, only about 20 minutes by bus from Slussen. We offer an inspiring and stimulating learning environment where the student's curiosity and independent learning are in focus. The school has approximately 190 students from preschool to grade 5.

Your Assignment as a Teaching Assistant

As a teaching assistant with us, your assignment involves:

· Providing individual support in learning, with a focus on clarity and adaptation.

· Supporting the student in social contexts, strengthening social skills, and contributing to positive inclusion.

· Being a reassuring adult who contributes to calm and structure during the school day.

· Collaborating closely with the class teacher, student health team, and your work team to jointly design and follow up on the best paths forward for the student.

Meritorious: Experience working with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) diagnoses.
