About the position
As a unit manager in Southeast Home Care, you will lead health and medical care in ordinary housing and have personnel, financial, and operational responsibility for nurses and assistant nurses working in home care. You will be responsible for a group of about 20 employees, and all conditions are in place for close leadership. You will collaborate with your unit manager colleague who will be responsible for the occupational therapists in the unit, as well as other unit managers within home care. You are responsible for following political decisions and set goals. The operations must be run with good quality within financial frameworks and based on the goal of increased influence and participation for citizens in need of our services. You lead the operations so that employees feel involved and engaged, and work for good collaboration between the different professional groups within the unit, as well as good external collaboration. The assignment includes monitoring and evaluating results from different perspectives such as quality and finance. As a unit manager, you report directly to the operations manager in home care and are part of the home care management team.
Implementation of a new agreement for health and medical care in the home is ongoing, and there is an intensive change process to reach the goal, something we do together with the region. To succeed, you therefore need experience in and enjoy leading change.

About the workplace
Southeast Home Care is one of five home care areas in Örebro Municipality. Our catchment area consists of urban and rural areas in a varied and pleasant area. Our unit is in an exciting development phase where we work on various development projects such as a coordinator function. The aim is to improve accessibility for residents and improve the work environment for employees.
The Care and Support area is part of the Social Administration. The operations include care and support, preventive activities, exercise of public authority in the field, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Within the Care and Support area, we work to support and help people who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives.

Qualifications

Requirements:
- university degree as a registered nurse
- managerial experience including personnel, financial, and operational responsibility
- experience in driving change and development work
- experience in systematic patient safety work
- good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- driver's license class B
Meriting:
