
Unit Manager/Manager for Newly Built LSS 9:8 Starting Winter 26/27!
Description
At the end of 2026/beginning of 2027, we will open the doors to a brand new residence for children and young people, LSS 9:8, in Lindome/Mölndal!
Requirements for employment are that you have experience with children and young people within the LSS target group, experience as a leader/manager (at least 2 years), and appropriate education (at least 3.5 years of university studies in the field). This is a requirement for standing on the permit issued by IVO (the Health and Social Care Inspectorate).
As a unit manager, you are the permit holder/manager for the unit and have full responsibility for staff, work environment, and budget. The responsibility includes coaching employees and being a support in daily work. You contribute to the development of the operation and keep the needs of the children and young people in focus.
The unit manager is part of the management team and reports to the CEO and quality manager.

Requirements for application:
- University/college degree in a relevant field, e.g., social work or other education that we consider equivalent and that qualifies you to stand on the permit (IVO) for the current operation.
- Documented experience in staff, budget, and work environment responsibility within healthcare and social care.
- Documented experience working with the target group, LSS.
- Documented experience working as a leader/manager
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
- Driver's license, travel in the job occurs
It is considered meritorious if you also have:
- Experience in a supervisory position within LSS 9:8
- Previously served as a permit holder for LSS 9:8 operations
- Training in and experience of working with low-arousal approach and clarifying pedagogy.
- Documented good experience of leading change
- Experience in starting up new residencies.

A basic condition for employment is that IVO approves our application for you to be listed on the permit for the operation.
Prior to employment, you need to provide an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register.
