Labor Market Secretary at Krami
Description
Duties
We are now looking for a labor market secretary for Krami, whose operations are conducted in collaboration between the Public Employment Service, the Prison and Probation Service, and the City of Malmö. Krami is aimed at individuals with ties to criminality and/or substance abuse who have not achieved education or employment and require close personal and social follow-up.
Collaboration is one of Krami's two pillars. Krami is an inter-organizational collaboration that demands high collaboration competence and excellent cooperation skills, as you will be part of a team where you work closely and across borders with colleagues from the Public Employment Service, the Prison and Probation Service, and the City of Malmö. We constantly strive to develop our teams so that we can focus on complex problems and avoid simple mistakes. Therefore, communication, openness, lack of prestige, participant focus, and patience are important personal qualities in our teamwork.
Consequence pedagogy is the second pillar. As a Krami employee, you commit to working based on a consequence pedagogical approach and to expressing the existentialist view of humanity that consequence pedagogy is built on. Based on this fundamental stance, you will work with social learning processes where participants are given the opportunity to develop their social action competence. Consequence pedagogy is also the approach that governs cooperation between Krami employees and forms the basis for a professional pedagogical stance and a good working environment.
Krami's goals are that participants should: find, obtain, and retain employment, lead law-abiding lives, enter new social contexts, and become self-sufficient. To achieve these goals, you need to have good knowledge of the system world and broad guidance expertise, as you must work with study and career guidance, individual guidance, group guidance, and spontaneous guidance.
In addition to Krami's recidivism prevention work, Krami is a labor market initiative and must annually achieve a set performance target where at least half of the enrolled participants (approx. 75 participants) must reach the goal of employment/studies and self-sufficiency. Therefore, the position requires that you are results-oriented, and we consider it particularly meritorious if you have experience in guidance towards employment/studies within the labor market policy area. In your work, you are expected to establish new employer contacts and build relationships and networks with employers in order to create conditions for participants to achieve one of Krami's main goals.
Long-term and close social, study, and employment-related follow-up are important elements of Krami's working methodology to keep participants in their change processes and retain their employment over time. The follow-up is carried out through relationship-building activities inside and outside the organization, workplace follow-ups, and through psychosocial advice and support.
Working at Krami means shared responsibility for daily operations, including planning and implementing various physical and social pedagogical activities, camp activities, and other activities that may take place in the evenings and on weekends.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree in behavioral science that the employer deems relevant for the position (at least 180 credits). You must also have at least 2 years of professional experience in practical social pedagogical work with target groups exhibiting social problems. You have experience in inter-organizational collaboration with other authorities/organizations/institutions and are well acquainted with both success factors and pitfalls of this form of collaboration. The position requires that you be part of teams working from a shared consequence pedagogical stance to collectively achieve the best results for the participant. A driver's license is required for the position. We consider the following as meritorious for the position:
- Training in consequence pedagogy
- Training in pedagogical change work
- Experience working with the target group
- Experience working with labor market policy measures
- Experience in study and career guidance
- Experience in group guidance
- Experience working with people facing lifestyle changes
- Knowledge/experience of ProCapita
We are looking for an employee who wants to work collaboratively, has excellent cooperation skills (both internally and externally), is driven, engaged, communicative, and flexible. It is important that you have an interest in external orientation regarding the multifaceted issues of the target group. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and it is positive if you have knowledge of other languages deemed relevant to the operations.
