
Service Technician / Gate Technician
Description
Do you want to become an important part of Hörmann Svenska AB as a service technician? Here you get the chance to be the face towards our customers and work in a dynamic environment! You will be part of a service-oriented team that services and maintains gates, barriers, docking stations with loading docks and weather seals. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and installation of new products. The role involves planning work together with your colleagues and service coordinators to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will identify opportunities for upselling and handle standby work.
Tasks/job description
- Being a service technician at Hörmann Svenska AB means being the face towards our customers and having daily customer contact.
- You will be part of a service-oriented team that services our customers' objects including gates, barriers, docking stations with loading docks and weather seals.
- The work is varied and includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs as well as assembly and installation of new products.
- Plan the work efficiently together with service coordinators, service manager and technician colleagues.
- Perform preventive maintenance based on the current service agreement with the customer.
- Submit time reports, installation and service documentation.
- Work with upselling by identifying improvement measures at the customer site.
- Standby work is part of the position.
Qualifications
- Experience in the gate profession
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting or focusing on automation.
