Caretaker for Kristianopel

Kristianopel Resort is the umbrella name for the operations that currently run Kristianopels Camping, Guest Harbor, Restaurant Pålsgården, and Hamnkrogen.

We are located in the idyllic Kristianopel, with roots dating back to the 1600s.

Kristianopel was founded in 1599 by the Danish king Christian IV on a peninsula extending into the Baltic Sea.

Today, the church from that time and a restored defensive wall nearly 2 km long remain.

Kristianopel is a beloved destination for many tourists during the summer.

Many visitors come from afar, and our guest harbor is daily filled with international guests.

We are now looking for a colleague to join our caretaker Peter. Period June to August (summer break).

We would like you (male/female) to be between 18-25 years old, just starting your career or studying, and looking for a free and enjoyable summer job.

As a caretaker, we want you to have a pleasant demeanor.

You are the person who meets our guests every day in the field.

Knowledge of how to use and maintain ground care equipment is a prerequisite.

In addition, some maintenance and simple repairs on buildings will also be part of the job. Painting, welding, changing door handles, fixing a drain.

It is important that you can understand the big picture and take initiative.

Not afraid to pitch in and sometimes get your hands dirty.

Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement, and knowledge of English or German is meritorious.

The job can be physically demanding.

Mowing, trimming, weeding flower beds, emptying trash, cleaning the beach, etc. The list of what your day might look like can be long.

We prefer that you live nearby, have access to your own car/ATV/moped, and are 18-25 years old.

One thing is certain: you will have a job with freedom and personal responsibility, and you will spend 98% of your time outdoors during the best time of the year.
