Laser Operator

Tranås Rostfria AB is a Swedish-owned contract manufacturer with a modern machine park in the areas of laser processing, punching, bending, welding, pressing, and painting, for individual details, assembled components, and finished products in sheet metal and stainless steel. We currently have about 50 employees and a turnover of MSEK 100.

Laser Operator Wanted

Are you technically interested and have experience from industry? Perhaps you have experience with laser cutting?

About the Position

We are looking for a laser operator for our modern laser/punching department. Here you will work with fully automatic lasers from Trumpf in a production that invests in the future. Our manufacturing series vary in size, which means you will work with many different products and materials.

You will become part of a team of a total of four operators and work independently, but in close collaboration with other machine groups. Working hours are mainly daytime, but two shifts may occur periodically.

Your Responsibilities and Tasks

• Picking parts
• Quality control of parts leaving the laser machines
• Material handling and replenishment using a forklift
• Monitoring and operating laser machines in operation
• Performing ongoing and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Planning and collaborating with other machine groups for efficient production

Who Are You?

• You have experience in industrial work, preferably in sheet metal processing, laser, or punching
• You are meticulous and quality-conscious
• You take initiative and see what needs to be done
• You enjoy working both independently and in a team
• Driver's license B is a requirement
• Forklift license is a merit
