We are now looking for a Shift Leader for Scandic Infra City.

What does the role of Shift Leader Front Office involve?

As a Front Office worker, you are responsible for providing our guests with world-class service. You are the spider in the web who ensures the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to details. You can solve most things and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security work, and sales work. Working in Front Office involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the guest with the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security.

In the role of Shift Leader, in addition to being part of operations, you have the overall overview of the guest flow and, together with the team, prioritize tasks so that the operation runs smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you train new employees at the hotel and also assist the Front Office Manager with certain administrative tasks.

The hotel is open around the clock, so it is important that you are comfortable working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Your Competence

For this role, you must have both the ability and the willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and have integrity and sales drive. To fit the role, we also believe that you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening at once. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. You are a perceptive and humble team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

You also have experience and skill in working with computers as a work tool.

Since much of the work involves communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is meritorious.
