Being a bus driver is an important service profession. It is a societal role to transport schoolchildren and citizens to school, work, friends, outdoor activities, and job interviews. Your mission is to create a safe, secure, and smooth travel experience every day in the Åre Valley for both skiing tourists and residents.

Working as a Bus Driver in Åre (year-round or seasonal) is a unique task! Here, half of the work group consists of seasonal employees and the other half work year-round. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, and the weather conditions can at times be very challenging. It is not a luxury to work as a Bus Driver in Åre, but a unique experience you will remember, and one that makes many people return year after year.

You will have the opportunity to live and work in a place you love, with great opportunities for camaraderie with colleagues, some of whom also live in one of our accommodations in Duved.

We highly value your personality, integrity, and ability to collaborate with colleagues and traffic management, as well as your service mindset and interaction with passengers.

During the winter season, we are an important part of Skistar's offering to its customers. Among other things, you will drive the ski buses in Åre. Connect Bus operates on behalf of Länstrafiken i Jämtland and is also responsible for scheduled traffic in Åre municipality.

We offer simple seasonal accommodation in Duved for seasonal employees, but also initial simple accommodation for those who want to start living and working in Duved but want to be able to search for their own accommodation at their own pace once on site. We have depots in Duved, Järpen, and Hallen.

Qualifications and Skills

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

You have a driver's license with D – Authorization

You have a CPC for bus

You have a digital tachograph card
