Being a bus driver is an important service profession. It is a societal role to transport schoolchildren and citizens to school, work, friends, outdoor activities, and job interviews. Your mission is to create a safe, secure, and smooth travel experience in the Åre Valley every day for both ski tourists and permanent residents.

Working as a Bus Driver in Åre (year-round or seasonal) is a unique mission! Here, half of the workforce consists of seasonal staff and the other half work year-round. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, and the weather conditions can often be very challenging. It is not a luxury to work as a Bus Driver in Åre, but a unique experience you will remember, and one that makes many return year after year.

You will have the opportunity to live and work in a place you love, with great opportunities for camaraderie with colleagues, many of whom also live in one of our accommodations in Duved.

During the winter season, we play an important part in Skistar's offering to their customers. You will, among other things, drive the ski buses in Åre. Connect Bus operates on behalf of Länstrafiken i Jämtland and is also responsible for route traffic in Åre municipality.

We offer simple seasonal housing in Duved for seasonal employees, and also initial simple accommodation for those who want to start living and working in Duved but prefer to search for their own housing calmly once on site. We have depots in Duved, Järpen, and Hallen.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

You have a driver's license with D - entitlement

You have a CPC for bus

You have a digital tachograph card
