CE Driver for Terminal – Evening or Night, Full-Time

We are looking for someone who has driven heavy vehicles before and knows what it takes for a transport to work all the way – from loading and securing to the rig being ready to move on.

This is a role for you who likes order, pace, and responsibility. You become an important part of the terminal flow and ensure that our drivers can leave the terminal with the right load, right securing, and right quality.

Brief about the position

• Position: CE driver for terminal
• Scope: Full-time
• Working hours: Evening or night
• Evening: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–1:00 AM
• Night: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Terms: In accordance with the Transport Agreement
• Insurance and pension: Via Fora

About the job

The work mainly takes place within the terminal area. You will work with shunting of loose decks and trailers as well as loading and unloading at the terminal.

An important part of the role is to ensure the quality of what is loaded and leaves the terminal. This involves ensuring the load is correctly placed, properly secured, and ready for the driver who will take the rig further.

Some driving may occur, but this is not a traditional driver job where you are on the roads most of the shift. Here, you use your driver experience in the terminal, where your knowledge of loads, weight distribution, safety, and practical flow makes a big difference.

Your contribution directly affects the safety of the driver taking over the rig and the quality of the entire transport chain.

This job suits you who knows the transport industry but no longer seeks many miles on the road every day. Maybe you have previously driven distribution, long-distance, or other heavy traffic and want a more structured setup with fixed working hours.

This is not the role for you who primarily wants to drive long distances. This is the role for you who wants to use your driver experience in a different way – closer to the terminal, the flow, and quality.

Job duties

• Shunting of loose decks and trailers in the terminal area
• Loading and unloading goods
• Inspection of goods, loads, and rigs
• Ensuring correct load securing
• Contributing to an efficient and safe terminal flow
• Some driving may occur

We are looking for someone who has

• CE driver's license
• Valid YKB (professional competence certificate)
• Digital tachograph card
• Experience with heavy traffic
• Good understanding of load securing
• Experience handling trailers
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility

Meritorious

• ADR (dangerous goods transport)
• Forklift license
• Previous experience in terminal work
• Experience in shunting or working with loose decks and trailers
