Material Handler for Construction Site

We are now seeking an experienced and self-sufficient material handler for one of our construction projects in Uppsala. You will have a central role in production, responsible for material flow, site order, and ensuring smooth operations without interruptions.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders and handle materials on the construction site
• Receive, check, and register deliveries (e.g., in Teams)
• Verify deliveries against orders and options
• Handle returns in collaboration with factory/supplier
• Assist with crane lifts
• Ensure materials are in the right place at the right time
• Responsible for electricity, lighting, and heating in apartments during production
• Maintain order and structure on the construction site
• Empty waste containers and manage waste
• Refill consumables (e.g., screw container)
• Responsible for storage containers and site huts (cleaning, refilling coffee, paper, etc.)
• Ensure first aid and fire protection are in place
• Inspect and maintain construction fencing
• Conduct safety inspections every two weeks
• Ensure signage and advertising are correctly placed
• Collect and manage materials for reuse (e.g., stamps and walkway supports)
• Contribute to uninterrupted production
