MiniBladet - News for and by Children

Freelance journalist who, in interacting with children, wants to develop MiniBladet's reporter school and write for children. You also need some experience with editing. MiniBladet is looking for a new colleague to start in June 2026!

MiniBladet is a news concept based on the idea that children should have the same right as adults to access what is happening in the world, but in a way that is adapted to them. We have also developed our Reporter School where children receive journalistic assignments and become local mini-reporters. Now we are looking for a motivated journalist who wants to work with us!

Requirements:

- Journalism education, or experience working in journalism.

- You should ideally have experience working with children and writing for children. Pedagogical experience is a plus.

- You are full of ideas and see designing new journalistic assignments for mini-reporters as a creative challenge. Source criticism is especially important to you.

- You are structured and good at meeting deadlines, while flexibility is important as sometimes quick reactions are needed when something topical happens. You also enjoy juggling many tasks.

- We work a lot from the heart, and we hope you do too.

- Experience with WordPress is a plus.

- Experience as a project manager, working with marketing and/or as a communicator is a plus.
