Description

For the fall of 2026 we are looking for someone who - is a trained teacher in Swedish and pedagogy for upper secondary school. The combination of Swedish and English is also of interest. The first academic year is 50-60% as a teacher, but it can be combined with 40-50% as a teacher resource in adapted upper secondary school from August to February.

The academic year 27-28 will be a 100% teaching position.

- is humble, curious, solution-oriented, has good pedagogical skills and is driven by what can be achieved through collegial learning and shared ideas about teaching.

- puts the students at the center, is passionate about your job and has a sense of humor.

- holds a teaching license for upper secondary school.

In the fall, you will teach Swedish levels 1 and 2. You will become a mentor for a sports class.

We conduct interviews continuously during the posting period.

Vackstanäsgymnasiet is a non-profit, independent upper secondary school with boarding facilities. The school is run as a foundation with board members from the Fredrika Bremer Association and the Agricultural Society. The school is beautifully located in the middle of the triangle of Järna, Nykvarn and Södertälje by Lake Vällingen. We have about 275 students in the Child and Leisure Programme, Leisure and Health, the Restaurant and Food Programme, chef, baker/pastry chef, the Natural Resources Programme, horticulture with a nature guide profile, and the Arts Programme with a focus on visual arts and design, profile textile design. We also have Property and Construction and Hotel, Restaurant and Bakery in the adapted upper secondary school. Sustainability is important to us; we work purposefully with the environment, the social climate, and the economy. Among other things, we grow much of our vegetables, we have a clear program to create cohesion for both students and staff, we are members of the Ideburna skolors riksförbund, etc.

The geographical location of the school means you need your own car to get there and back.
