Mathematics teacher for grades 4-9

For the school year 26/27, we are looking for a subject teacher in mathematics for teaching in intermediate and lower secondary school. Temporary position with possible extension.

We:

-are a small independent preschool, primary school and after-school care with a total of about 150 children/students in the building.

-have about 110 school students distributed across grades Fk-9.

-are bilingual. Our operations are characterized by both Swedish and Finnish.

-are centrally located in Tumba, near commuter trains and buses.

You:

-enjoy working with students of different ages, with different conditions and abilities.

-assume that your work encompasses both students' knowledge and social development.

-see relationship building as an important part of your teaching.

-structure work based on given frameworks, contexts, needs and goals. And are prepared for plans to change.

-take own initiatives when appropriate and necessary.

-take collaboration with your colleagues for granted.

-see all parts of the school (operations, students, staff and guardians) as a whole. Where you are an important piece of the puzzle together with the rest of us.

-may preferably know both Swedish and Finnish.
