We are looking for a trained Finnish-speaking childcare worker

The Swedish-Finnish Preschool Kaksi Kieltä is an independent preschool for children with a Finnish cultural background. The preschool is located centrally in Stockholm, in Vasastan.

Our goal is to support and enrich the Finnish language and anchor the child's identity in both Finnish and Swedish culture. The preschool follows the goals and guidelines of the curriculum, Lpfö 18 rev 2025, the Education Act, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We are looking for a person who is positive, initiative-taking, easy to collaborate with, and has a strong interest in developing teaching and education. You thrive working independently and can plan, document, and reflect on activities and teaching.

It is important that you see all children and can adapt teaching and activities to individual conditions. You want every day to be fun and educational for the children at preschool. We would like you to have experience with an exploratory working method and that you base your work on the children's interests and experiences.

You must master Finnish and also preferably Swedish in speech and writing. We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker with a few years of professional experience.

You will work together with three preschool teachers, four childcare workers, and a present principal to develop the exploratory approach.

We would like you to have experience in planning, conducting, and documenting teaching, as well as reflecting on and evaluating teaching and education through systematic quality work.

Qualifications:

Childcare worker training, mastery of Finnish in speech and writing, and preferably also Swedish in speech and writing.

Interviews are conducted continuously. Start in August 2026.
