Teaching Assistant and After-School Care Worker

Pilgrimsskolan is a small independent F-3 school in Aspudden with small classes and high staff density. It is a bifrost-inspired school with a thematic approach where theory and practice go hand in hand. Our guiding words are knowledge, safety, and responsibility. For the fall, we are looking for someone who can work as a teaching assistant during school hours and in after-school care in the afternoons.

To succeed as a teaching assistant, you need to be calm, patient, clear, and consistent in your actions. You need to have a low-affect response and be good at seeing and expressing positive actions and progress in the student.

Work in after-school care means being there for all the school's students. You must be able to lead activities based on the after-school care curriculum and be skilled at engaging children in play and social training. As a person, you are positive and curious. You enjoy trying new things and developing. You are open to others' ideas and collaborating with your colleagues is a given for you. You take initiative and always have the students' best interests in focus.

The position is a 75% temporary contract from August to December.
