English Teacher Grades 6-9 Entréskolan Eskilstuna

For fall 2026, we are seeking a teacher qualified to teach English grades 6-9 at Entréskolan Eskilstuna.

Entréskolan is an aesthetic compulsory school for grades 4-9 that focuses on creative expression through aesthetic forms in subject-integrated work areas. Entréskolan is located in Västerås, Stockholm, Eskilstuna and Örebro. We offer four aesthetic orientations: theater, music, dance, and art.

Entréskolan is characterized by a cross-curricular approach in various work areas. We strive for every student to be involved and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a teacher with us, you are an important part of that work.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with lower secondary school students. At Entréskolan, the school year is divided into subject-integrated work areas where teaching is planned jointly by teachers around a group of students. As a teacher at Entréskolan, it is therefore important that you thrive in a role where collaboration is a central part. We prefer that you have good IT skills, as a large part of the work is done with digital tools. All students in the class have access to their own computer used at school. As a person, you thrive in an assignment where you have a great deal of own responsibility and the opportunity to take many initiatives, but also can listen and collaborate with others. You are creative and gladly come up with new ideas and approaches.

- has computer experience and willingness/experience working with computers as a tool in pedagogical work

- has a positive view of all students' ability to succeed

- has great commitment and is driven and resourceful

- has a great ability to communicate with students and parents in a solution-focused way.

Education

You hold relevant education and experience. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and willingness to work with subject integration in creative learning.
