Health and Social Care Teacher

Önnestad Folk High School has been an important place for education and personal development for over 150 years. The school is located in scenic surroundings that contribute to a peaceful and creative study environment. The school has dormitories and is close to train connections. Each year, about 300 participants choose us to attend one of our courses. The school employs about 40 people in various roles including cleaning, property management, janitorial services, administration, finance, study and career guidance, kitchen staff, and teachers.

We train the future nursing assistants. Our vocational training is a 2-year program. The training is aimed at adults who want to work in the healthcare sector and practice during the training. The program follows the National Vocational Package, which corresponds to the subjects of the upper secondary school's Health and Social Care Program. We are affiliated with Vård College, a quality certificate for education in healthcare and social care, where working life and school collaborate. The training is eligible for CSN (student financial aid). Our participants have the opportunity to do internships abroad through our project with Erasmus.

Your Profile

We are looking for a skilled and committed vocational teacher in health and social care. You have the ability to see solutions, are unpretentious in your working approach, have good collaboration skills, and contribute positively to both the work environment and the learning environment. Obtaining and visiting APL (workplace-based learning) placements is part of the work. To carry out internship visits, you need a driver's license and access to a car.
