Do you have a passion for leadership and for creating conditions that allow both people and business to grow? We are looking for a commercially driven and confident leader who wants to take overall responsibility for our private market business and together with other employees contribute to the development of the entire bank.

About the role

As Private Market Manager, you have a strategic and business-oriented role in the bank. Together with the Assistant Private Market Manager, you lead a team of approximately 25 employees with a focus on customer service and private advisory, including premium and private banking. The team is located at the bank's offices in Borgholm and Färjestaden, and you divide your time between the offices.

In your daily work, you work closely with the business and your employees, and you are responsible for driving the private business forward with the aim of developing and maintaining good customer and business relationships that strengthen customer satisfaction and contribute to long-term sustainable business growth. You focus on quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while leading the team towards set business goals and ensuring that the bank's customers receive the best possible service and advice. You are present and coaching, promote self-leadership, and ensure that employees have the right conditions with a clear and sustainable working method that strengthens the team.

You represent the bank in various contexts and in contact with the bank's partners. The role also involves being an ambassador for the bank in the local community, where the bank works to promote development on Öland.

You are part of the bank's management group and report directly to the CEO.

About you

For the role, we want you to have:

  • Academic education in economics or law, or equivalent deemed comparable
  • Leadership experience

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience with personnel responsibility
  • Experience from banking and/or the financial sector
  • Experience in sales management/sales coaching
  • Good understanding of financial products, lending, advisory services, and regulations in the area
  • Swedsec Advisory and Mortgage License as well as certification for insurance distribution

You express yourself well in both speech and writing, have good knowledge of English, and have good digital skills.

A driving license (B category) is required.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, and the workplace is Borgholm and Färjestaden, where you are expected to alternate between the two offices.
