Lead Business Developer

Inkubera is looking for a Project Manager & Business Developer – build the next generation innovation pipeline

Do you want to build something that actually changes how ideas become growing companies? Inkubera is now seeking a project manager for a major EU-funded development project where we build a data-driven innovation pipeline – from idea to investment. This is not a traditional project; it is an opportunity to design and drive a structure that shapes the companies of the future – where AI is an integrated part of how we work.

About the role

This role encompasses project management, business development, and system building. You will lead the development and execution of a cohesive pipeline: Prepare (Pre-incubation) → Incubation → Accelerator

This means you:

• Lead and develop a program flow where innovative startups progress from early idea to investment readiness
• Work operationally as a business developer with early-stage companies
• Develop and implement AI-agent based working methods in company development
• Build a scalable, digital, and data-driven structure for selection, follow-up, and development
• Ensure quality in inflow, selection, and output
• Work closely with startups, business developers, investors, and partners
• Assume responsibility for project deliverables, follow-up, and dialogue with financiers

You will not just "lead a project" – you will be the very engine that develops the companies, using AI as a central tool.

Who we are looking for

• Have experience from startup environments, incubation, company building, or business development
• Have worked closely with early-stage companies and understand what makes them investable
• Are curious about practically working with AI and agent-based working methods
• Are used to working operationally and making things happen, not just planning
• Thrive in environments where not everything is predetermined
• Have the ability to structure complexity and drive clear results

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in developing or using AI support in operational processes
• Experience in program design (accelerators, cohort-based programs)
• Worked in or near public funding / EU projects
