Senior Accounting Specialist

We are now looking for a senior accounting specialist who wants to help develop our finance function in the Southwest region.

As an accounting specialist, you will independently handle advanced accounting work and serve as a support to the companies in the group. The role involves close collaboration with controllers and finance managers in our subsidiaries. Over time, you will work with all parts of the accounting process, such as financial statements, annual reports, reporting, and group reconciliations. You will also handle the day-to-day bookkeeping for a few smaller subsidiaries. In this role, you will work closely with our Regional Controller and play a key part in developing and improving our processes, routines, and internal controls.

Your main tasks include:

• Monthly closings
• Monthly reporting
• Annual closings
• Annual reports
• Day-to-day bookkeeping for 2–3 smaller subsidiaries
• Supporting the companies with the tasks they need help with

You have a strong desire to learn and stay updated on current regulations in accounting and tax. You value collaboration and clear communication and are happy to share your knowledge.

We are looking for someone with:

• A university degree in accounting or equivalent
• A few years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience working in various financial systems
• Experience in group companies is a plus
• A valid driver's license, as travel to subsidiaries may occur.

Conditions and application
