Växjö startup seeks fullstack developer/lead developer

We are looking for an experienced fullstack developer who wants to take a leading role in a small team and help build our platform for language education.

This is not a “typical” developer role – you will have significant influence over both technology choices and the product, and in the long term also take overall responsibility as CTO, including IT security.

About the role

You will:

• Be responsible for further development of our platform (frontend + backend)
• Make technical decisions regarding architecture and structure
• Work closely with us running the company (product, user needs, priorities)
• Set direction for codebase, working methods, and quality
• Have responsibility for IT security and technical stability

We are a small team, which means short decision-making paths and great opportunity to influence.

Brief about our stack:

• Next.js (app router), you should have experience
• Typescript, you should have experience
• Shadcn for UI
• Postgres (with drizzle-orm)
• Pulumi (IaC)

We believe you:

• Have several years of experience in fullstack development
• Are comfortable taking technical responsibility and making decisions
• Want to work in a smaller organization where you have significant influence
• Are pragmatic – you build what is actually needed
• Have knowledge of (and want to take responsibility for) IT security

Practical details

• Location: Växjö (preferred), but we are open to remote work
• Start: Summer 2026 or according to agreement
