IT Tester

We are now looking for an experienced tester for a consulting assignment with immediate start.

Location: Sundsvall

Remote work: Possibility to work remotely up to 60%, meaning approximately 3 days per week remotely and an average of 2 days per week on site in Sundsvall.

Period: Start as soon as possible, long-term assignment up to 3+ years.

Extent: 100% (40 hours/week)

Language: Swedish

About the role

The client needs to strengthen their development operations with a tester who will work in teams within the authority's development portfolio with a focus on system development.

This is an assignment for an experienced tester who thrives in an agile development environment and wants to contribute to quality and stability in socially critical systems.

The assignment includes testing work in connection with:

• New development
• Further development
• Maintenance of the authority's IT support

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and non-functional tests
• Review and analyze requirements from a testing perspective
• Create and manage advanced test data
• Execute tests and document test results
• Contribute to quality, structure, and progress in assignments
• Work in agile development environments with several collaborating teams
• If needed, support and lead coordination between teams

Requirements

Have worked in the role of tester, or equivalent, within IT and agile system development on a distributed service-oriented platform for at least 5 years during the last 10 years.

Have deep understanding and experience of:

• Testing work with complex relationships
• Functional and non-functional tests
• Regression testing
• Integration testing
• Test case development
• Preparation of test data from databases
• Use of SQL in testing work
• Ability to write and speak fluent Swedish
• Provide at least two references along with CV
