Villa Pauli is an international family membership club located by the water in Djursholm – a place where gastronomy, community, and cross-generational gatherings are at the center.
In May 2026, a major expansion of 1,600 sqm will be completed, featuring a new bar and restaurant concept, a pool area with a rooftop terrace, tennis court, new hotel suites, and Villa Pauli Wellness Club with spa and gym.

We are now looking for a Senior Sous Chef who wants to be a key part of our kitchen team and help elevate our standards even further. In connection with our expansion and renovation, there will also be opportunities to grow within the organization.
Our gastronomic profile is deeply rooted in Nordic ingredients, traditions, and methods, but is inspired by the Mediterranean's wonderful food culture and cooking techniques from around the world. Good, flavorful food made from scratch!

Villa Pauli is located 15–20 minutes from central Stockholm and offers a restaurant and bar, private salons, conference rooms, and hotel rooms. With the 2026 expansion, it further strengthens its position as a year-round destination for gastronomy, sports, wellness, and social life.
About the Role
As a Senior Sous Chef, you work closely with the Head Chef and are a key player in the kitchen team. We have an à la carte restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, where you work stations or prep on a rotating schedule. We also host events of various sizes and other food-related assignments. A lively workplace!
Job Responsibilities:
• Hot and cold kitchen, prep and service
• Ensure cleanliness, order, and style
• Place orders and plan and organize the different parts of the operation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a world-class guest experience
• Work according to schedule – days, evenings, weekends
• Ensure that dishes maintain high quality and are presented according to standard
• Lead and inspire the kitchen team during service
Qualifications
• Experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role at an à la carte restaurant
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• Genuine interest in food and drink and a desire to constantly improve
• You need to be a good colleague who wants to help create a great workplace
• You can give and receive feedback, both positive and constructive
• You have an eye for detail and like order and tidiness
