Sous Chef at Novas Krog

Novas Krog in Umeå City! Just as the headline says - a classic steakhouse, bar & grill where our ambition is for you to enjoy great food and be well taken care of by our service staff!

Our à la carte menu features a variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, where we value quality throughout the entire process. In our menu, you will find everything from smoked BBQ ribs, grilled meat dishes, fish, and also vegetarian options – all prepared with care!

We smoke a lot of meat in our own smoker "low & slow", which makes our BBQ something extra special.

Novas Krog is a family business that started a restaurant on Holmön outside Umeå in 2016.

In spring 2023, we also opened in Umeå, and since August 2025, we run the restaurant at Norrlandsoperan.

We are now looking for a sous chef to support our operations in Umeå initially, and eventually take over from the head chef who is approaching retirement.

For us, it is important to maintain the family feeling and find an employee who works well in our team. That is why we pay extra attention to who you are as a person and value personal qualities higher than formal requirements.
