OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST FOR VINTERSOL

Clinica Vintersol is a rehabilitation facility in southern Tenerife, primarily intended for people with neurological and rheumatological diseases as well as psoriasis. We have 71 rooms with up to 100 beds for inpatients as well as an outpatient clinic that serves approximately 40-50 patients daily during winter, most of whom have neurological or rheumatic diseases. Our patients mainly come from Norway or Sweden and are funded by the Norwegian National Hospital, but other nationalities such as Spanish, German, English, and Italian also occur. We are looking for you: who has at least three years of experience as an occupational therapist and is interested in the above-mentioned diagnosis groups who can work independently and is good at taking own initiative who is used to working in teams with other staff groups who can support the patient in taking responsibility for their own rehabilitation who has an interest in leading diagnosis-oriented information sessions for your patients who has computer skills and is accustomed to digital record-keeping who sees the charm in living and working in a different culture with all that it entails who is stress-resistant and can handle a sometimes high workload who is service-oriented and has a positive attitude who is flexible and solution-oriented We offer a very pleasant environment with a wonderful climate. Qualifications Licensed occupational therapist, preferably with previous experience in rehabilitation and/or outpatient work. Knowledge of Spanish is important and meritorious but not required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, proven organizational ability, flexibility, positivity, and high stress tolerance.
