About the position

We are now looking for stevedores for our port and stevedoring operations. The position involves varied work in the port area where you participate in the entire cargo flow. The work is carried out in two shifts and is not scheduled during daytime.

In the role, you work with several parts of the operations, including handling of Scania's empty packaging, loading and unloading of trailers as well as inbound and outbound loading of materials in our terminal operations. The work also includes unloading of trailers arriving from Kvastmossen.

Work at Destination Gotland is a recurring part of the position. This involves stevedore and terminal-related work in connection with the ferry's arrivals. You work closely with both colleagues and other operators in the port to ensure an efficient, safe and punctual flow of goods.

Job duties

As a stevedore, the role includes, among other things:

• Work within port and stevedoring operations
• Handling of Scania's empty packaging
• Loading and unloading of trailers
• Inbound and outbound loading of materials in the terminal operations
• Unloading of shunting trailers from Kvastmossen
• Loading and unloading of goods from ferries at Destination Gotland
• Work according to applicable safety procedures, traffic rules and instructions

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is industrious, responsible and enjoys physical work in an environment where safety and cooperation are crucial. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible and contribute to a positive work climate. Experience from ports, industry, logistics or transport is meritorious.

Requirements for the position

To be considered for the position, you need:

• B driver's license
• C, CE driver's license
• YKB
• ADR
• Forklift certificate B1
• High school diploma
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

· C2, C3a

· D driver's license

Terms of employment

• Probationary employment 6 months
• Two-shift work (not daytime)
• Start according to agreement
