You & Us & The Job

As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is a necessity to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to city. We work systematically to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be an important part of this by, among other things, being trained in eco-driving. Together, we are working to become fossil-free by 2030.

This is a temporary position with a full-time employment rate of 100%. The employment starts week 22 and lasts until week 35. Working hours are during the daytime, Monday to Friday, within the time interval 08:45–16:45. There may also be a possibility of extension after week 35. You will work from Prästgårdsvägen 5, 45731 Tanumshede.

What you will do

• Loading, collection, and distribution of parcels.
• Meeting our customers, wherever they are. Whether they are agents, private or corporate customers.

Who you are

• Curious and self-driven: A large part of the job is done alone, but teamwork is important.
• Patient and calm: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You maintain balance.
• Well-organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key words, as well as order and punctuality. Our customers must be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Good physical condition: Yes, you are sitting during transit, but you need to be able to lift and handle at pickups and deliveries. Good strength and mobility are required.
• Adaptable: Unexpected events require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relationships need the right attitude and feeling.
• You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.

What you bring

• High school diploma, or currently in your last year of high school
• B driving license and experience driving a car
• Swedish in speech and writing
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to find solutions
