Social Educator / Resource Teacher to Waldorf School in Karlshamn

Waldorf School in Karlshamn is an independent primary school for grades Pre-K to 9. The operation is run by the Daggkåpan economic association, which is also the principal of the Waldorf preschool Daggkåpan. Currently, there are about 122 students in grades Pre-K to 9.

At Waldorf School in Karlshamn, children spend time in an environment that, together with the pedagogy, forms the basis for our holistic view of children's learning. Waldorf pedagogy strives to appeal to all aspects of children, thus integrating theoretical, practical, and artistic learning. Like all Waldorf schools, we have a clear aesthetic focus with ample space for music, drama, art, and writing. What further sets us apart is our science orientation. One day each week, students have science day, where at least half the day consists of outdoor lessons. Additionally, we organize several excursions and trips with a science focus each year, including a botany excursion for grade 5, a geology excursion for grade 6, and a two-week mountain trip for grade 9.

We are now seeking a colleague for our lower/middle school for the 26/27 academic year, who is trained as a social educator/resource teacher and has a few years of professional experience.
