On Brännö, an island in Gothenburg's southern archipelago, lies Brännö Värdshus. You reach it by boat via the archipelago traffic. The inn has numerous events and activities, primarily music every month, year-round. The proximity to Gothenburg and its popularity as a tourist destination mean many of our guests come from all corners of the world. Our restaurant seats around 40, and our detached pavilion can accommodate about 100 guests. There we organize music events, parties, weddings, and conferences. In summer, our large lovely outdoor terrace is filled with islanders and summer guests. The inn also runs Pensionat Baggen with 9 rooms and 19 beds.




Accommodation can be arranged. Also possible to have your own parking at Saltholmen. We need to expand and complement with an independent and driven à la carte chef, perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious chef with at least 5 years of documented experience and vocational training.

Of course you love food, drink, people and service, and feel proud when you can give the guest that little extra every day.

We are a tight team that encourages and helps each other, all for our guests to feel at home with us.

The archipelago environment is inspiring, so there are plenty of opportunities for development.


A driving license is meritorious.

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious chef for both hot and cold kitchen. You will work closely with our head chef, and as a person you are alert, positive, and have an ambition to learn and develop yourself and your craft together with us here at the inn. We always strive for the guest to feel good and well attended to in a relaxed way by eating really good food and receiving pleasant service. The tasks include producing well-cooked food in a unique and inspiring environment where fish and shellfish form a significant part of the menu. Work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Otherwise, usual kitchen tasks.
