Licensed Veterinary Nurse

We are an established small animal clinic in Umeå and are now looking for a licensed veterinary nurse who wants to become part of our team. We have five veterinarians, five licensed veterinary nurses, and seven animal caretakers working in a practice with an active surgical department, outpatient clinic, and emergency intake, but without on-call duties.

We offer a strong team spirit and value professional and empathetic interaction where both patient and pet owner are in focus. The role includes varied tasks such as nursing of hospitalized patients, assistance with examinations and treatments, anesthesia work during surgery, as well as sampling, basic laboratory work, and customer communication.

We are looking for someone who is a licensed veterinary nurse, thrives both working independently and in a team, and is structured, responsible, and confident in interactions with pet owners. Previous experience from a small animal clinic is meritorious.

The position is a temporary role at 100% with the possibility of extension; a lower percentage can be discussed, and start date is negotiable. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Welcome with your application!
