We are now looking for an engaged and matching-focused counselor with extensive local knowledge of the Västerås labor market. The business community is a natural partner where you will play an important role in building networks and contributing to the local labor market's competence supply. Our goal is to be a natural choice for businesses when recruiting; ensuring employers and job seekers find each other is key to our mission.

In the role of counselor (job coach), you will work with guiding and coaching job seekers on their individual journey towards employment or studies. This is within the framework of the Swedish Public Employment Service's procured matching service Rusta och Matcha. To thrive in this role, you need to be relationship-building and motivated by meeting people in a process of change. The work places high demands on documentation, and you need to be able to structure and work methodically based on set goals and results.

It is advantageous if you have previously worked with any of the Swedish Public Employment Service's matching services. In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

Qualifications

Option 1

Education: Higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).

Work experience: At least two (2) years of work experience equivalent to full-time. Part-time can also be approved if the combined working time corresponds to full-time over two (2) years.

Option 2

Education: At least one (1) year of full-time studies at post-secondary level with at least satisfactory results. Post-secondary education includes higher education as well as various types of vocational training, such as qualified vocational education, higher vocational education, military training, and police training.

Work experience: At least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following occupations or tasks:

- Management with personnel responsibility

- Recruitment

- Job transition support for job seekers

- Study and career guidance

- Personnel matters handling (not purely personnel administration)

- Work with labor and employment issues

- Work with social and group psychology

- Career guidance

Part-time can also be approved if the combined working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.
