Inspection Technician – Work in Forest and Terrain

Do you want a job where the office is the forest and freedom is a natural part of everyday life? As an inspection technician, you will inspect all parts of the electricity network, such as poles, lines, cable cabinets, and more, while moving through the varied and beautiful landscapes of Sweden and Norway. No two days are the same, and you get to truly experience nature, far from office environments and fixed routines.

You work from your home and plan your own workdays, giving you great freedom but also great responsibility. The role suits someone who enjoys working independently, making their own decisions, and taking responsibility for their work. At the same time, it is a physically active job where you spend a lot of time on foot in forests and terrain, often alone, which requires good physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

The work does not always take place close to home; travel and overnight stays elsewhere are a natural and recurring part of the job and occur more than occasionally. You should therefore be flexible and thrive in a mobile work life. Working hours are structured so that you often work time in advance, usually Monday to Thursday, or according to a schedule of seven days of work followed by seven days off, providing good opportunities for longer consecutive periods of leave.

We prefer you to have experience in the industry, but it is not a requirement. You will receive the training you need to get into the role. With us, your motivation and performance determine how far you can develop, and your salary is largely influenced by your own work.
