Quality Technician / Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Quality Technician / Engineer to work with the client's functional tests and quality controls. The work will be performed at the client's office in Malmö. Depending on the candidate's experience and seniority, there is the possibility to take the role of Technician (more junior as described below) or Engineer (more senior as described below).

Quality Technician (Junior)

Overall Responsibility

Responsible for conducting tests and quality controls according to defined methods and instructions, and ensuring correct documentation of results.

Tasks

• Conduct tests according to established test plans and instructions
• Document test results and report deviations
• Perform recurring verification tests (e.g., annual SAT)
• Ensure that measurement equipment is used correctly and calibrated
• Participate in customer and authority inspections
• Support troubleshooting and simple analysis of test results
• Collaborate with internal functions in production and quality

Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure tests are performed according to current procedures
• Maintain accurate and traceable documentation
• Identify and report deviations

Competence and Experience

• Technical education (e.g., higher vocational education or equivalent)
• Experience in testing, production, or measurement technology is meritorious
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and requirements
• Meticulous and structured in documentation

Quality Engineer (Senior)

Overall Responsibility

Responsible for planning, analysis, and development of testing and quality work, and contribute to improvements of products and processes.

Tasks

• Develop test plans based on customer requirements, standards, and internal specifications
• Analyze test results and drive improvement measures
• Participate in development projects and product changes
• Develop and improve test methods and quality processes
• Conduct and follow up advanced tests (including SAT)
• Be the contact person towards customers, suppliers, and authorities regarding quality matters
• Support and guide technicians in testing and quality work

Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure test strategy and methods meet requirements and standards
• Drive quality improvements and root cause analyses
• Ensure high quality in analysis, reporting, and decision-making basis
• Contribute to the development of products and quality systems

Competence and Experience

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in testing, quality, or product development
• Strong analytical ability and experience in troubleshooting
• Experience working in projects and with requirements management
• Good understanding of quality standards and processes
