Production Engineering/ Preparation/ Procurement Robustus wear comp. AB

About the position:

We are a manufacturing company in machining, together with a sister company we have about 50 employees.

You will perform technical preparation of new products in turning, grinding, milling and purchase tools. You work closely with the production manager, planner, and operators. As we are a small organization, there is a lot of hands-on work.

You will be part of a team of 3 people who partly share the same tasks.

Since we are a small company, you will support each other in each other's tasks.

There is frequent contact with suppliers and customers to solve and understand the products we are to manufacture.

The production planner is responsible for the main planning of the company's production groups so that our goals can be achieved, and you are responsible for the technical part of that flow. The position is varied and involving, where you collaborate continuously with sales, procurement, and production. In this role, you share responsibility with a colleague to ensure that our internal planning provides conditions for a smooth and efficient use of procurement and production flow and that the operation can deliver according to commitments.

Tasks:

• Prepare work orders etc. in our ERP system Monitor.
• Item preparation, inventory control, and optimization.
• Participate in improvement and optimization of processes.
• Procurement / Ordering
• Participate in planning meetings
• Support operators during start-up of new articles.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of previous experience in technical preparation within manufacturing industry, as well as a relevant education in the field, (experience as a CNC operator is a plus).
• Is a proficient user of ERP systems and Office package.
• Wants to work in a key role, has strong collaboration skills and wants to work in a an evolving operation.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (Swedish).
