French Teacher for Grades 6-9 at Entréskolan Örebro

We are looking for a teacher qualified to teach French in grades 6-9 for the autumn term 2026. The position is 45%. The position can be expanded if combined with another subject such as English, drama, or music.

Estetisk grundskola (Arts-focused Primary and Lower Secondary School) grades 4-9

Entréskolan is an arts-focused school for grades 4-9 with a focus on active learning through creative expression based on aesthetic forms in interdisciplinary thematic units. Entréskolan also operates in Västerås, Stockholm, and Eskilstuna. We offer four arts profiles: drama, music, dance, and visual arts. Students are accepted to each profile through skills tests.

The entire school is characterized by a cross-curricular approach in various thematic units where theoretical subjects are integrated with the arts. We work to ensure that every student is involved and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a teacher here, you are an important part of this effort.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with lower secondary students. At Entréskolan, the school year is divided into interdisciplinary thematic units, and teachers plan instruction collaboratively for a group of students. As a teacher at Entréskolan, it is therefore important that you thrive in a role where collaboration is central. We also appreciate good IT skills, as much of the work involves digital tools. All students have access to their own computer for schoolwork. As a person, you thrive in a role with significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to take initiative, while also being receptive to collaboration. You are creative and bring new ideas and approaches. An added advantage is an interest or experience in an artistic form of expression.
