English Teacher Grades 7-9, Entréskolan Örebro

We are looking for a teacher qualified to teach English in grades 7-9 for the autumn term of 2026. Preferably combined with another subject. We are also currently seeking teachers in music, French, and theater. The position includes being a mentor for a group of students.

Esthetic Compulsory School Grades 4-9

Entréskolan is an esthetic compulsory school for grades 4-9 with a focus on active learning through creative work using esthetic forms of expression in subject-integrated areas. Entréskolan also exists in Västerås, Stockholm, and Eskilstuna. We offer four esthetic profiles: theater, music, dance, and art. Admission to each profile is through an aptitude test.

Entréskolan is characterized by a cross-curricular approach in various subject areas where theoretical subjects are integrated with esthetic subjects. We work to ensure that every student is involved and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a teacher with us, you are an important part of that work.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with lower secondary school students. At Entréskolan, the school year is divided into integrated subject areas where teaching is planned together by the teachers around a group of students. As a teacher at Entréskolan, it is therefore important that you thrive in a role where collaboration is central. We would prefer if you have good IT skills, as a large part of the work is done with digital tools. All students in the class have access to their own computer for schoolwork. As a person, you thrive in a role with great personal responsibility and the freedom to take many initiatives, but also have the ability to listen and collaborate with others. You are creative and like to come up with new ideas and approaches. An advantage is if you have an interest or experience in some form of esthetic expression.

- has computer experience and willingness/experience to use the computer as a tool in pedagogical work

- has a positive view of all students' ability to succeed

- is highly committed, driven, and resourceful

- has a great ability to communicate with students and parents in a solution-focused manner.

Education

You hold relevant education and experience. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and willingness to work with subject integration in a creative learning environment.
