Music Teacher Grades 4-9 Entréskolan Örebro

For the autumn term 2026, we are seeking a music teacher, preferably in combination with another subject, for Entréskolan Örebro to teach music in grades 4-9 and our music profile. We are looking for someone driven who wants to be part of our students' musical development. Our music profile focuses on the rock band with vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums as main instruments. Entréskolan is an aesthetic primary school for grades 4-9 with a focus on active learning through creative expression using aesthetic forms in integrated subject areas. Entréskolan is located in Västerås, Stockholm, Eskilstuna, and Örebro. We offer four aesthetic profiles: theater, music, dance, and art.

Entréskolan is characterized by a cross-curricular approach in various subject areas. We work to ensure that every student is involved and active in their learning. We want our students to feel safe, seen, and respected at Entréskolan. As a teacher with us, you are a key part of this work.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with youth in primary school. At Entréskolan, the school year is divided into integrated subject areas where teaching is planned together by teachers around a group of students. As a teacher at Entréskolan, it is therefore important that you thrive in a role where collaboration is central. We also appreciate good IT skills, as much of the work uses digital tools. As a person, you are comfortable in a role with significant personal responsibility and room to take initiative while also being able to listen and cooperate with others. You are creative and happy to bring new ideas and approaches.

- Has a strong ability to communicate with students and parents in a solution-focused manner.

Education

You have relevant education and experience. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and willingness to work with cross-curricular integration in active learning using computers as a pedagogical tool.
