49Books AB is an independent multilingual publishing house based in Alingsås. We publish literature in Kurdish (Sorani and Kurmanji), Persian, Arabic, Swedish, English, and more. Our catalog includes over 1,000 published titles.

We are now looking for a self-motivated freelance salesperson who wants to reach new readers worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Online sales via our website and social media

- Direct sales at cultural events and book fairs

- Contact and agreements with bookstores in Europe

- Find strong manuscripts from authors for publication by 49Books

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

- Has experience in sales or marketing

- Speaks at least one of the languages Kurdish, Persian, or Arabic

- Has an existing network within the diaspora, cultural associations, or the book industry

- Is driven and self-sufficient
