About the Position
We are now looking for an IT Technician for our Uddevalla office who has a genuine interest in technology and a desire to provide high-quality support to our users. The ideal candidate has good experience with networks/infrastructure and server management. You should find it easy to initiate contact and communicate with our users at the right level. You have a genuine interest in IT/networks and a willingness to test new technical solutions. However, you are more all-round than a specialist and may assist in other areas of the business based on need and competence. As we are now recruiting, we may redistribute some areas of responsibility, which provides flexibility regarding the competencies we are seeking.
Job Responsibilities
As an IT Technician, your work area is broad – you will work with support, network, server, and application management, installation of clients, printers, account management, and permissions. We have good tools for supporting our users remotely but also need to handle some cases on-site, which requires a valid driver's license.
Qualifications/Education
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the field or equivalent knowledge and experience. Previous work experience in the field is required, and we place great importance on your personal qualities and how these can complement the existing work group.
You have very good and current knowledge in:
Windows Server, Active Directory, IT security solutions, and Microsoft 365.
You also have good knowledge of:
• Server/client operations in Windows environment
• Microsoft Azure
• Network and IT security
• Client and program distribution systems
• Service orientation
• Experience with support via phone, email, and in-person contact focusing on the user
• Good analytical ability
• Ability to take own initiative
• Experience working on projects, both independently and collaboratively
• Good proficiency in system documentation in both Swedish and English
Other
You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, able to communicate at an IT technical level and simultaneously make it understandable to others. You need to collaborate and communicate easily both internally and externally. As a support-oriented business, we focus on customer interaction and place great value on personal suitability.
